It's official folks! Shameless Season 5 is back! We've been waiting on pins and needles for Showtime to announce a premiere date and they finally have. Shameless Season 5 will premiere on...drum roll please... January 11, 2015. There will be twelve episodes this season.


Season 5 will have us on a roller coaster ride of emotions when it comes to our dear old Fiona (played by actress Haylee Bennett). Romance and Redemption will be the theme of the season for Fiona. She is trying to stay on the straight and narrow and do things right this time. She also is working at Patsy's Pies. As the viewers know from watching the last episode of Season 4 Jimmy/Steve is back but he'll be going by Jack this season. How will Fiona react to her former flame returning to town? Then there's Sean Pierce Fiona's boss from Patsy's who she might find herself flirting with temptation with this season. Then we also have the new recurring character being played by musician Cash Rollins. Fiona will definitely have her hands full in the romance department. 

i can't wait for the premiere!!! 

I guess we can already tell if Dermot Mulroney is going to be a love interest for Fiona this season! Thanks to Just Jared Jr. we got a glimpse of Haylee Bennett and Dermot Mulroney filming what seems to be a romantic night scene in LA. Shameless is filmed in Los Angeles and Chicago.
